Kiki Kokí: The Enchanted Legend of the Coqui Frog

Kiki Koki, a fun-loving little Taino Indian boy would rather play than help his tribe. To teach him a lesson, the Moon Goddess turns him into a golden tree frog. Only when Kiki Koki saves a village of frogs from rascally rat pirates, does he prove that he has earned the right to become a boy again. Inspired by a Taino Indian legend, the whimsical Story of Kiki Koki captures the rich colors and spirit of Puerto Rico, while sharing a lighthearted lesson about what it means to be part of a community – whether human – or amphibian.

Kiki Kokí: The Enchanted Fountain of Borikén

In this bilingual adventure, we meet Poncie the Turtle. Poncie has discovered a map to the Enchanted Fountain of Borikén. Legend has it that he who discovers the Enchanted Fountain, will make new friends and see many magical places. “I want to meet new friends! I want to see magical places!” exclaims Kiki Kokí. This is the start of a colorful adventure that introduces children of all backgrounds to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, while sharing a light hearted lesson for kids and adults about appreciating the magic that each day brings.

Kiki Kokí: The Legend of the Borikén Rainforest

In this bilingual legend, Kiki Kokí tries to convince his friends that the strange creature discovered in the Borikén rainforest is not an alien from another world, but a newly hatched parrot chick that needs their help. Inspired by the work done to rescue and repopulate Puerto Rico’s only indigenous parrot, “Kiki Kokí: The Legend of the Borikén Rainforest” is a story of discovery and empathy. Through this colorful adventure, children learn about the importance of caring for those most vulnerable, and not to make assumptions of others just because they are different.
